β How do I create a time capsule?
Tap the "+" button, add your content, set an unlock date, and tap "Seal Capsule".
π Can I open a capsule before the unlock date?
No, sealed capsules cannot be opened early. This preserves the surprise!
π What happens when my capsule unlocks?
You'll receive a notification. Tap it to view your capsule's contents.
π Is my data secure?
Yes! Your data is encrypted during transmission (TLS/SSL) and stored securely on cloud servers with encryption. Only you can access your content through your authenticated account.
π How long will my data be stored?
Your capsule content is stored until the capsule unlocks and you delete it, or until you delete your account. We retain your data as long as you need it.
π‘οΈ What is a "Time Contract"?
A Time Contract (Prevent Deletion) makes your capsule permanent. Once signed and sealed, the capsule cannot be deleted by you or the recipient, even after it unlocks. It's designed for preserving irreplaceable memories.
β‘ How does "Time Continuation" work?
If you're inactive for 6 months, capsules with this feature enabled will be automatically delivered to your chosen recipients early. This ensures your messages reach their destination even if you're unable to access the app.
ποΈ How do I delete my account?
Go to Settings β Account β Delete Account. Your data will be permanently removed within 30 days.
π³ How do I cancel my subscription?
Manage subscriptions in your device Settings β Apple ID β Subscriptions.
β οΈ The app isn't working. What should I do?
Try: 1) Force close and reopen, 2) Check internet connection, 3) Update the app, 4) Restart your device.
π What languages does the app support?
Time Capsule supports both English and Chinese (Simplified). The app language follows your device's system language setting.
